Our flagship Innova Hycross ZX Top, filmed on the actual car. The panoramic sunroof opening, the powered recliner captain seats with the electric leg rest out, and the cabin on the move.
The film explains the daily bands, why more days means a lower daily rate, how a one-way drop is priced and what is charged at actuals. The rates on this page follow it.

The Innova Crysta is the same trip at ₹500 a day less, driver plus 6 with two captain seats in the middle row; driver plus 7 is subject to availability, when a bench extension is fitted between the captain seats. The Innova Hycross ZX Top is the top model: powered recliner captain seats, a panoramic sunroof and a near-silent hybrid cabin. Rates follow the kilometres covered in a day, so adding a day usually lowers the daily rate. Work out your exact rate.
Nothing is collected from you on the road. The daily rate covers the chauffeur and his allowance. You buy the fuel, full tank out and full tank back, and you pay toll and parking exactly as incurred, against the FASTag statement and the cash receipts. No night charge, no minimum kilometres, no extra kilometre rate, and nothing added for crossing a state line. The car is serviced on schedule at the authorised Toyota workshop and we keep every invoice. Every rule of a booking, written down.
Ganpatipule is about 340 km from Mumbai, roughly seven to eight hours down the Konkan coast. A three-day trip usually runs 800 to 900 km. On the flat rate none of it is billed by the kilometre: you pay the day rate and fill the fuel your trip uses. A day runs until 12 midnight. If the car reaches our garage after 11 PM on the last day, one extra day's driver allowance is payable; after 12 midnight, the next day's rate applies. A ₹2,000 deposit confirms your date.
Seven hours each way on the coastal road is a long time to sit, and families on this route often travel with elders. Comfort and a calm driver matter more here than anywhere.
Near-silent hybrid cabin. The Hycross ZX Top is a petrol strong hybrid. It pulls away on electric power in silence, and the cabin stays calm, with far less engine noise and vibration than a diesel.
An early start puts you at the temple by afternoon. The Hycross and your chauffeur reach your door.
Darshan, the beach, Aare-Ware and Jaigad: go as you please. There is no kilometre meter running.
Refill at the end of the trip and pay the day rate plus toll/parking. That is the whole bill.
The flat rate above is for the Hycross ZX Top. For two or three people on a tighter budget, or a large group, we also run the Innova Crysta, sedans, Ertiga and Carens, Tempo Travellers, the Force Urbania and buses for Mumbai to Ganpatipule, quoted for your trip.

The self-manifested idol and the reason most families come. The temple faces the sea.
The walk goes around the hill itself on a laterite path. Go before nine or after five, when the rock is cooler.
White sand up to the temple. Beautiful at either end of the day, but read the swimming note below.
Two quiet beaches on the cliff road towards Ratnagiri, with a viewpoint above them.
A coastal fort above the creek, with a lighthouse and views down the coast. Rarely crowded.
The poet Keshavsut's village nearby, and a museum of old Konkan village life that children enjoy.
The beach has a strong undertow and sudden drop-offs. Wading is the sensible limit.
The laterite path holds the heat. Before nine or after five is far easier, especially with elders.
Seven hours each way makes a day trip pointless. Two or three days lets you enjoy it.
Ganesh Chaturthi, Angarki and Sankashti bring big crowds. Avoid them for a quiet darshan.
Rooms are limited and fill early on weekends and festival dates.
Cool and dry for the beach and the pradakshina. The monsoon is green but the sea is rough.
Starting from Navi Mumbai or Panvel? The Goa highway starts on your side of the city. Tell us your pickup point and we will time the departure around it.
The temple trust records the vision in which Ganesh says the hill itself is his formless form. That is why the pradakshina goes around the hill. Ganpatipule is also counted among the Ashta Dwar Devatas as the Paschim Dwar Devata, the western sentinel. The trust puts the drive from Mumbai at 350 to 375 km on its own pages.
Aarti at 5 AM, noon and 7 PM. Khichdi prasad from about 12:30 to 2 PM. Several cab sites claim an afternoon closure. The trust says otherwise.
Direct puja for devotees runs 7 to 11 AM and is performed on a symbolic image, not on the swayambhu idol itself. Worth knowing before you arrive expecting an abhishek on the murti.
High tide, low tide and sunset go up daily on its own site. Check it before anyone goes near the water.
The trust’s own guidance tells visitors to find out the tides before entering, to hold hands, and not to be over bold in the sea. We will repeat that rather than sell you a swimming holiday.
20 km via Nevare or 50 km via Nivali. The short one is the one to ask for.
Eight to nine hours of driving each way. One night means the drive is the holiday.
Ganpatipule is the far end of the good and bad of the Konkan highway. The first half, through Raigad and northern Ratnagiri, still carries the construction bottlenecks. The second half is finished. We plan the halts around that rather than around the clock.
Not in kilometres, in time. It is where the slow part ends and the quick part begins, and it is the natural proper break rather than a roadside tea.
Two roads turn off for Ganpatipule. Nevare is 20 km from Ratnagiri, Nivali is 50. Ask for Nevare and save an hour at the end of a long day.
The fort and the creek crossing, and almost nobody staying at Ganpatipule goes. Worth half a morning.
A quieter beach than Ganpatipule, and the honest answer if what you actually want is sand without a temple town around it.
Which makes Ganpatipule and Mahalakshmi a single trip rather than two, if you have four days.
The new Konkan plazas have no published car rates. We hand you what the road charged rather than a number off a website.
