The Innova Crysta is the same trip at ₹500 a day less, driver plus 6 with two captain seats in the middle row; driver plus 7 is subject to availability, when a bench extension is fitted between the captain seats. The Innova Hycross ZX Top is the top model: powered recliner captain seats, a panoramic sunroof and a near-silent hybrid cabin. Rates follow the kilometres covered in a day, so adding a day usually lowers the daily rate. Work out your exact rate.
Nothing is collected from you on the road. The daily rate covers the chauffeur and his allowance. You buy the fuel, full tank out and full tank back, and you pay toll and parking exactly as incurred, against the FASTag statement and the cash receipts. No night charge, no minimum kilometres, no extra kilometre rate, and nothing added for crossing a state line. The car is serviced on schedule at the authorised Toyota workshop and we keep every invoice. Every rule of a booking, written down.
Lavasa is about 190 km from Andheri, roughly four hours via the Expressway and the Pune bypass. A day trip usually runs 380 to 420 km. On the flat rate none of it is billed by the kilometre: you pay the day rate and fill the fuel your trip uses. A day runs until 12 midnight. If the car reaches our garage after 11 PM on the last day, one extra day's driver allowance is payable; after 12 midnight, the next day's rate applies. A ₹2,000 deposit confirms your date.
Four hours each way is a long day, and the best part is the last hour, where the road tracks the lake through the hills. The seats matter for the first three hours, the sunroof for the last one.
Near-silent hybrid cabin. The Hycross ZX Top is a petrol strong hybrid. It pulls away on electric power in silence, and the cabin stays calm, with far less engine noise and vibration than a diesel.
An early start makes a long day comfortable. The Hycross and your chauffeur reach your door.
Temghar Dam, the backwaters, the promenade: stop as often as you like. There is no kilometre meter running.
Refill at the end of the trip and pay the day rate plus toll/parking. That is the whole bill.
The flat rate above is for the Hycross ZX Top. For two or three people on a tighter budget, or a large group, we also run the Innova Crysta, sedans, Ertiga and Carens, Tempo Travellers, the Force Urbania and buses for Mumbai to Lavasa, quoted for your trip.

Lavasa is quiet and parts of it feel empty. Come for a calm drive and a lakeside walk, not a busy resort town.
The final stretch from Temghar hugs the water. Take it slowly.
Hotels, cafes and activities open and close. Ring ahead, especially midweek.
Options thin out after Pirangut. Eat and fill up on the Pune side.
Four hours each way makes a twelve-hour day. Many families add a night in Pune.
June to September for cloud in the valley and a full lake; November to February for clear, cool walking weather.

We would rather lose the booking than sell you a day out that disappoints. Lavasa Corporation has been in insolvency since August 2018. A resolution plan was approved in July 2023 and then set aside by the tribunal in September 2024 for failure to implement, which restarted the process. Declared liabilities run past Rs 6,642 crore. What that means on the ground is a township that was never finished and has been quiet for years, rather than a working hill station.
We could not confirm from any reliable source which hotels, restaurants or attractions are trading in 2026. Booking site listings are not evidence that a place is open.
Drive you there, on the day rate, after we have checked what is actually running. If the answer is very little, we will tell you before you pay a deposit.
Lavasa is reached from Pune, up the Pirangut and Temghar road. From Andheri that is roughly five and a half to six and a half hours one way. A comfortable day return it is not.
If what you want is a hill drive and a day out of Mumbai, Lonavala and Khandala are closer, open and far more certain. We will happily quote both.
We could not verify whether entry is gated or charged. Anything collected on the day goes on your bill at actuals with the receipt.
Because people search for it and deserve a straight answer rather than copy written off a brochure from 2012.
