Our flagship Innova Hycross ZX Top, filmed on the actual car. The panoramic sunroof opening, the powered recliner captain seats with the electric leg rest out, and the cabin on the move.
The film explains the daily bands, why more days means a lower daily rate, how a one-way drop is priced and what is charged at actuals. The rates on this page follow it.

Our chauffeurs know this circuit. They know the order the temples are taken in, where the car can wait, how long darshan usually runs at each one, and where to stop for food and a toilet break. You are not directing the driver from the back seat.
The Innova Crysta is the same trip at ₹500 a day less, driver plus 6 with two captain seats in the middle row; driver plus 7 is subject to availability, when a bench extension is fitted between the captain seats. The Innova Hycross ZX Top is the top model: powered recliner captain seats, a panoramic sunroof and a near-silent hybrid cabin. Rates follow the kilometres covered in a day, so adding a day usually lowers the daily rate. Work out your exact rate.
Nothing is collected from you on the road. The daily rate covers the chauffeur and his allowance. You buy the fuel, full tank out and full tank back, and you pay toll and parking exactly as incurred, against the FASTag statement and the cash receipts. No night charge, no minimum kilometres, no extra kilometre rate, and nothing added for crossing a state line. The car is serviced on schedule at the authorised Toyota workshop and we keep every invoice. Every rule of a booking, written down.
A Shirdi round trip is roughly 500 to 530 km with local running. On the flat rate none of it is billed by the kilometre: you pay the day rate and fill the fuel your trip uses. A day runs until 12 midnight. If the car reaches our garage after 11 PM on the last day, one extra day's driver allowance is payable; after 12 midnight, the next day's rate applies. A ₹2,000 deposit confirms your date.
Shirdi is a long, straight highway run done twice in one day, often before dawn with elders and children asleep in the back. What matters is how little the car intrudes.
Near-silent hybrid cabin. The Hycross ZX Top is a petrol strong hybrid. It pulls away on electric power in silence, and the cabin stays calm, with far less engine noise and vibration than a diesel.
The Hycross and your chauffeur reach your door at the time you choose.
Add Shani Shingnapur, stop for lunch. There is no kilometre meter running.
Refill at the end of the trip and pay the day rate plus toll/parking. That is the whole bill.
The flat rate above is for the Hycross ZX Top. For two or three people on a tighter budget, or a large group, we also run the Innova Crysta, sedans, Ertiga and Carens, Tempo Travellers, the Force Urbania and buses for Mumbai to Shirdi, quoted for your trip.

Baba's resting place and where the main darshan queue leads. Aartis run through the day, from the dawn Kakad Aarti to the Shej Aarti at night.
The old mosque where Baba lived, with the dhuni he lit still burning. Quieter than the main temple, and for many families the more moving stop.
Chavadi, where Baba slept on alternate nights, and Gurusthan under the neem tree. Both a short walk from the main complex.
The garden Baba tended, with the Nanda Deep lamp. A good place to sit for ten minutes after a long queue.
About ninety minutes on, the village known for houses without doors. A weekday morning is far calmer than a Saturday.
One of the twelve Jyotirlingas, near Nashik. Most families who add it make the trip two days. See our Mumbai to Nashik page.
The temple opens at 4:45 AM and the Kakad Aarti is at 5:15 AM, and a paid Kakad Aarti pass asks you to report at 4:15 AM at Gate No. 1. Allowing five to six hours with one halt, that means leaving Andheri between 10 and 11 PM. Midnight leaves no margin. The overnight run also skips the Thane and Bhiwandi traffic completely.
Free and paid passes can be reserved on the official Sai Sansthan site. Carry the same ID you booked with.
So are Guru Purnima, Ram Navami and Vijayadashami. If your dates are flexible, a Tuesday or Wednesday is far calmer.
The Sansthan says lockers are available in the complex at a nominal charge, but it does not publish a fixed list of what you may carry in, and the gates enforce it differently on different days. Dress modestly and expect to walk barefoot. Anything you are asked to leave behind stays in our car, which is one of the quiet advantages of a chauffeur over a drop taxi.
The Sansthan dining hall serves a simple, clean, inexpensive meal to thousands every day.
Cool nights for the drive and pleasant mornings for the queue. November and December book out early, so fix your date well ahead.
Starting from Thane, Mulund, Ghatkopar or Navi Mumbai? The expressway now begins at Amane near Bhiwandi, which is on your side of the city, so your drive is shorter than ours. Tell us your pickup point and we will time the departure around it.
Until 5 June 2025 a car from Mumbai had to climb Kasara ghat on the old Nashik highway to reach the Samruddhi Mahamarg at Igatpuri, which cancelled most of the benefit. That month the last 75 km stretch opened and the expressway became continuous from Mumbai. We now join it at Amane near Bhiwandi and leave it at the Shirdi interchange. If a quotation you are reading still routes you up Kasara ghat, it was written before the road changed.
Andheri East to Thane, on at Amane village near Bhiwandi, then through Shahapur, the Igatpuri tunnels and Sinnar, off at the Shirdi interchange. Roughly 235 to 255 km and five to six hours with one halt. The expressway stretch itself is about two hours at the legal 120.
The old NH 160 through Kasara ghat, Igatpuri and Nashik to Sinnar and Shirdi. Slower, but it is the right road if you want Nashik or Trimbakeshwar in the same trip, because it passes both.
Andheri East to Thane to Bhiwandi is the part nobody counts and the part that swings most. Leaving at 10 PM is a completely different road from leaving at 9 AM, which is the main reason the Kakad Aarti run works so well.
NHAI shuts the old ghat for daytime resurfacing from time to time and diverts traffic through the new one. It is one more reason we take the expressway unless you need Nashik.
The last 51 km of NH 160 is being four laned, with a wide median kept for the palkhi processions. Good news once it is finished, a work zone until then.
On festival days the bottleneck is inside Shirdi town, not on the road to it. The highway runs fine and then the final stretch does not.
You pay fuel, toll and parking at actuals on top of the flat daily rate, so here is what to expect, as at October 2026. Toll rates are revised by the authorities, so treat these as current indications and not as a fixed quote.
You do not pay at plazas along the way. You take a ticket on entry and pay once on exit for the distance covered. Different from every other road on this list, and it surprises first timers.
The car rate went up on 1 April 2025 to roughly Rs 2.06 a kilometre. Over the Amane to Shirdi stretch that works out to around Rs 370 to Rs 450 one way. Any toll figure you see quoted from 2023 or 2024 is out of date.
Three plazas instead of one settlement: Arjunalli in Thane district, Ghoti in Nashik district, and Pimparwadi on the Sinnar to Shirdi stretch, which had its own revision in January 2026.
Nothing. Cars have been exempt at Dahisar, Mulund, Vashi, Airoli and Tinhath Naka since October 2024.
Closed tolling means the exit charge lands in one go. We check the balance before departure so there is no scene at the barrier with your family in the car at five in the morning.
If you join the expressway nearer Thane or Bhiwandi than we do, you pay for fewer kilometres. We will tell you the figure we actually paid, with the receipt.
These are the Sansthan’s own figures, checked on its official booking system on 2 October 2026. Prices and timings change, so confirm them when you book. The one thing that does not change: the Sansthan has authorised no agent, anywhere, to sell darshan passes or rooms. Book them yourself at online.sai.org.in and pay nobody else. We do not sell passes and we never will.
Temple opens 4:45 AM. Kakad Aarti 5:15 AM, Madhyan Aarti 12 noon, Dhoop Aarti at sunset so it moves through the year, Shej Aarti 10 PM. The free darshan queue runs from about 6 AM to 9:30 PM.
Kakad Aarti Rs 600 a person, report 4:15 AM. Madhyan, Dhoop and Shej Rs 400 a person, report one hour before. All of them report at Gate No. 1. Up to 10 people a booking.
Rs 200 a person, hourly slots through the day, and you report 30 minutes before your slot. This one reports at Gate No. 6, not Gate No. 1. Roughly a thousand places a slot.
Paid darshan is Gate No. 6. Aarti passes are Gate No. 1. Vehicle pooja is outside Gate No. 4. They are on different sides of the complex, so tell your chauffeur which pass you hold and he will drop you at the right one.
Outside Gate No. 4, Rs 151 for a four wheeler and Rs 51 for a two wheeler, booked at the Sansthan donation office rather than online. Mornings 9 to 11:30 and afternoons 1 to 5, outside aarti times. Bring prasad, a fruit and garlands.
The Sansthan’s own dates. Ordinary days see around 25,000 devotees and festival days more than a lakh. If your dates are flexible, a Tuesday or Wednesday outside festival week is a different experience altogether.
Where the car waits: the Sansthan complexes have parking, and the New Bhakta Niwas, 1.3 km out, runs a free shuttle to the temple around the clock. A free Sansthan parking area opened on four acres near Sai Baba Hospital, about 700 m from the temple, after complaints about private operators overcharging. We have not yet confirmed its hours at four in the morning, so we will not promise it; your chauffeur will find the nearest open option on the day and tell you what it cost.
The classic pairing and the one that fits best. Morning darshan at Shirdi, Shani Shingnapur in the afternoon, then home or a night in Shirdi. Half a day, no change to the route.
Fits comfortably on a two day trip, and it changes the route: go or return on the old Nashik highway rather than the expressway, because it passes the door. Kalaram Temple, Panchavati, Muktidham and the Pandavleni caves.
One of the twelve Jyotirlingas and the source of the Godavari. It fits, but not as an add on to a one day Shirdi run. Shirdi plus Nashik plus Trimbakeshwar is a two night trip, and it has its own darshan queue.
Lakes, waterfalls and Kalsubai, the highest point in Maharashtra. A different kind of trip from a darshan run, best right after the monsoon, and it needs its own day rather than an afternoon.
The expressway has its own exits for Ajanta and Ellora, so Shirdi and the caves work as one itinerary without doubling back. Aurangabad is about 112 km from Shirdi.
Shirdi, Shani Shingnapur and Trimbakeshwar in a single day. It can be driven. It cannot be enjoyed, and you will see all three through a windscreen.
