Monday to Saturday. Sunday ₹6,500 a day. Goa is priced off the same table as everywhere else, with no extra charge for the state line. Any state charge at the Goa border is passed on at actuals with the receipt, though our cars run on an All India Tourist Permit and the central rules say no further state tax should be levied on one. Most trips run four to six days, including the two driving days. Car, chauffeur and driver allowance included.

Our flagship Innova Hycross ZX Top, filmed on the actual car. The panoramic sunroof opening, the powered recliner captain seats with the electric leg rest out, and the cabin on the move.
The film explains the daily bands, why more days means a lower daily rate, how a one-way drop is priced and what is charged at actuals. The rates on this page follow it.
Mumbai to Goa car rental in the Hycross ZX Top: a Mumbai to Goa cab service with a chauffeur, priced by the day. This is car rental Mumbai to Goa for the whole trip, so the Mumbai to Goa taxi stays with you for beaches, Old Goa and the drive home. If you want the drive down only, a one-way drop is priced off the same table. Need Mumbai to Goa car hire, a car on rent from Mumbai to Goa or car hire from Mumbai to Goa for a family? It is the same Mumbai goa cab service, with Mumbai to Goa car booking on WhatsApp. Looking for a Mumbai to Goa Innova, or an Innova on rent for Goa from Mumbai? Guaranteed model, not a category. You are booking our flagship Innova Hycross ZX Top. Once your booking is confirmed we send you photographs of that exact car, its registration number, and your chauffeur's name and number. Every cab aggregator in this market writes "or similar" against every car, because none of them knows which car will arrive at your door. See the car.

The Innova Crysta is the same trip at ₹500 a day less, driver plus 6 with two captain seats in the middle row; driver plus 7 is subject to availability, when a bench extension is fitted between the captain seats. The Innova Hycross ZX Top is the top model: powered recliner captain seats, a panoramic sunroof and a near-silent hybrid cabin. Rates follow the kilometres covered in a day, so adding a day usually lowers the daily rate. Work out your exact rate.
Nothing is collected from you on the road. The daily rate covers the chauffeur and his allowance. You buy the fuel, full tank out and full tank back, and you pay toll and parking exactly as incurred, against the FASTag statement and the cash receipts. No night charge, no minimum kilometres, no extra kilometre rate, and nothing added for crossing a state line. The car is serviced on schedule at the authorised Toyota workshop and we keep every invoice. Every rule of a booking, written down.
Goa is about 590 km from Mumbai each way down the Konkan coast, roughly eleven to twelve hours with halts. A five-day trip usually runs 1,400 to 1,600 km. On the flat rate none of it is billed by the kilometre: you pay the day rate and fill the fuel your trip uses. A day runs until 12 midnight. If the car reaches our garage after 11 PM on the last day, one extra day's driver allowance is payable; after 12 midnight, the next day's rate applies. A ₹2,000 deposit confirms your date.
This is the longest route we run. By hour six, what matters is whether everyone can stretch out, stay cool and actually sleep, and whether the driver has the car's safety systems working with him.
Near-silent hybrid cabin. The Hycross ZX Top is a petrol strong hybrid. It pulls away on electric power in silence, and the cabin stays calm, with far less engine noise and vibration than a diesel.
An early start puts you in Goa for dinner. The Hycross and your chauffeur reach your door.
Beaches, Old Goa, markets and dinner: the same car and chauffeur for every trip. No meter running.
Refill at the end of the trip and pay the day rate plus toll/parking. That is the whole bill.
The flat rate above is for the Hycross ZX Top. For two or three people on a tighter budget, or a large group, we also run the Innova Crysta, sedans, Ertiga and Carens, Tempo Travellers, the Force Urbania and buses for Mumbai to Goa, quoted for your trip.

The busy, cheerful end of Goa: shacks, water sports and a beach that never empties. Best early in the morning or after four.
Cliffs, black rock and the Wednesday flea market. Walk up to Chapora Fort near sunset rather than at midday.
Quieter, greener and a long way from the north. If calm is what you came for, base yourself here.
The Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Cathedral, both UNESCO-listed. Go in the morning, before the tour buses.
Aguada, Reis Magos and Chapora give the best views in Goa for little or no ticket.
At full force after the monsoon. The last stretch is by permitted jeep from Mollem, so give it a half-day.
Uber and Ola do not operate in most of Goa, and local stands charge fixed prices. With your flagship car and chauffeur, every trip is simply yours.
Calangute to Palolem is a serious drive. Pick one end as your base and treat the other as a planned day out.
Twelve hours in one go is doable with an early start. A night at Ganpatipule or Ratnagiri makes the journey part of the holiday.
The Konkan coastal road is slower and more beautiful; the inland run through Kolhapur is faster. Tell us which you prefer.
The Goa state entry tax is paid at the border check post and added at actuals. Checkpoints are routine, and hotels ask for ID at check-in. Keep documents in the cabin, not the boot.
Dry, warm days and cool evenings. Late December to early January is the busiest stretch, so book the car early.
Starting from Navi Mumbai, Panvel or Thane? The Goa highway starts on your side of the city, which saves an hour on the first day. Tell us your pickup point and we will time the departure around it.
Roughly 600 km down the coast on NH 66, realistically 11 to 13 hours of driving plus breaks. The inland road through Pune, Kolhapur and Belagavi is about 560 km and faster on paper. We take the coast unless there is a reason not to, because it is the prettier drive and the one your family will remember. What we will not do is tell you the Konkan highway is finished, because it is not.
Panvel, Pen, Nagothane, Kolad, Mangaon, Mahad, Poladpur, the Kashedi ghat, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Lanja, Rajapur, Kankavli, Kudal, Sawantwadi, then the border at Patradevi and on through Pernem and Mapusa.
Raigad and Ratnagiri. The Indapur and Mangaon bypasses and the Chiplun flyover have been slow, and the concreted stretch from Panvel to Kolad has heavy speed breakers. Ministers have announced completion more than once. We go by what the road is actually like this month.
From roughly Lanja south through Kankavli, Kudal and Sawantwadi the four lane concrete is done and the traffic is light. Sindhudurg is finished. The last 150 km into Goa is the best part of the drive.
Taking the sea bridge out of Mumbai instead of the Sion Panvel road cuts 45 minutes to an hour off the start. It costs Rs 250 for a car, a concessional rate held until the end of 2026, and on a 12 hour drive it is money well spent.
Expressway to Pune, then NH 48 through Satara, Karad, Kolhapur, Nipani and Belagavi. Faster and more predictable, higher tolls, and nothing to look at. We take it in heavy monsoon and when the clock matters more than the view.
June to September the coast road is slower and genuinely riskier. Heavy rain has disrupted traffic on this highway on record. It is beautiful and cheap and we will still drive it, but we will not promise you a 12 hour day in July.
If you have driven to Goa before and remember paying almost nothing, that has changed. Toll collection began at Kharpada near Pen on 16 May 2026, with Khamb near Roha in the same phase and more plazas going up at Nagothane and near Poladpur. Any Goa costing you were given before that date is out of date. We bill toll at actuals with the receipts, so you see exactly what the road charged.
The rates at the new Konkan plazas have not been published anywhere we can verify, and the figures floating around online range from Rs 550 to Rs 950 for the coast road. We would rather hand you the receipts than invent a number.
Nothing for cars since October 2024. Relevant on the way home.
Rs 250 for a car each way, held at the concessional rate until 31 December 2026.
There is a physical checkpost and documents get checked. Our cars run on an All India Tourist Permit, which the rules make valid throughout India, and the central government has advised states not to levy any further tax on vehicles holding one. The permit, the tourist list, registration, insurance, fitness and PUC all travel in the car.
The permit rules require the names of the people travelling to be carried in the vehicle. It is what makes your car legal to drive you around Goa all week. It also means we cannot pick up anyone who is not on your booking, which is exactly as it should be.
We are not aware of a toll plaza on the Goa stretch. We are telling you what we know rather than what we would like to be true.
On 3 August 2026 the Goa tourism department classified 19 activities at tourist places as punishable nuisances, with fines from Rs 5,000 up to Rs 1 lakh. Driving on the beach is on the list, as is blocking beach cleaning vehicles. Our chauffeur will not reverse onto the sand at Baga to save you a walk, and now you know why.
Not in the way you are used to. App based supply is mostly the state backed GoaMiles, and it thins out badly at night and in the south. This is the real reason to keep a car and a driver for the whole stay rather than fly and hope.
It happens to Goan taxis from the next taluka too, so it is not about the number plate. Your booking and the tourist list make the car legal. Our drivers stay calm, park where they are asked to, and do not argue.
Panaji has notified rates, Rs 20 for the first hour and Rs 15 for each hour after. At the North Goa beaches parking is run variously by the tourism corporation, panchayats and private lots, and the rates are not published. Billed at actuals with the receipt.
Drunken driving in Goa carries Rs 10,000 or six months, and the police prosecute rather than just fine. Drinking in non permitted places is on the banned list too. The whole point of a chauffeur on a Goa trip is that nobody in your group has to count drinks.
Goa announced drone surveillance of the beaches from north to south in June 2026. Worth knowing before anyone decides the rules are theoretical.
Goa’s beach shacks are licensed under the state shack policy and run from 1 September to 31 May, with mandatory removal by 10 June each year. The policy was extended by a year for the 2026 to 27 season rather than replaced. A 1 September start does not mean the shacks are physically standing on 1 September; building and allotment gather pace through October and November. Permanent beachside restaurants run all year because they are not temporary structures.
The practical window. November to February is the best weather for both the beach and the drive.
The most expensive and most crowded fortnight of the year, and North Goa traffic and parking are at their worst. Book the car early or pick different dates.
Monsoon. Green, empty and cheap, most shacks gone, and the drive is slower. A different trip, not a worse one, as long as you know what you are booking.
Panvel or Pen for the first tea. Mangaon around the three hour mark for breakfast. Mahad or Poladpur either side of the Kashedi ghat. Chiplun is halfway in time and the natural proper break.
Ratnagiri or Ganpatipule is the usual overnight, about seven hours out, leaving six to Goa the next morning. Many families find this far better than one 13 hour day, and it costs one more day on the rate rather than a different rate.
The last clean break before the border and the start of the good road. We know this stretch well; our family is from Kankavli.
